Chris McVey is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Deputy Head of Octopus Quoted Companies at Octopus Investments since December 2016. Prior to this role, Chris held positions as a Director in U.K. Small & Mid Cap Equity Research at Citi from October 2009 to December 2016, and as a Director in U.K. Growth Equity Sales at Evolution Securities between March 2007 and October 2009. Earlier in the career, Chris worked as an Investment Manager and Analyst focusing on U.K. Small & Mid Cap Companies at Gartmore from September 2000 to March 2007. Chris holds a degree from the University of Aberdeen.
