Jim Pelletier is a highly experienced software engineer and consultant with a career spanning over a decade in various leadership and technical roles. Currently serving as Principal Software Engineer at Octopus Deploy since June 2022, Jim has previously held positions including VP of Engineering at BoardOutlook and Principal Software Developer at Liberty Financial Pty Ltd, where innovative solutions were delivered to enhance customer experiences for mortgage brokers. Their technical expertise is further demonstrated through roles such as Tech Lead at PageUp and Senior Developer at Kiandra IT, where Jim managed teams, coached developers, and delivered complex projects using modern frameworks and technologies. Additionally, Jim has contributed to the .NET community as the Meet Up Organiser for Alt.NET Melbourne and serves as a consultant and trainer through Jim Pelletier Consulting.
