Carey Bishop is a Senior Software Engineer at Octopus Deploy since July 2022, focusing on the infrastructure for Octopus Cloud. Previously, Carey served as Lead Design Engineer at Tait Communications from July 2017 to June 2022, overseeing the technical design and delivery of software applications while pushing for an agile DevOps environment. Prior experience includes team leadership roles at Telogis, where leadership extended to the development of both HTML5 and Microsoft Silverlight front-ends for a fleet management solution, as well as technical responsibilities across back-end functionality. Carey's earlier work involved applications development at Holcim New Zealand and supervisory roles at The Warehouse. Educationally, Carey holds a BSc Hons in Computer Science from the University of Canterbury, obtained between 2001 and 2005.
