Michael Stanley has worked in multiple roles and companies throughout their career. Michael started as a Landscaper at Powers Landscaping from May 2016 to August 2017. After that, they worked as a Delivery Driver at New Baltimore Garage, Inc. for a few months from May 2018 to August 2018. In 2019, they joined Hyperloop at Virginia Tech as a Controls Team Lead, where they were responsible for ensuring the pod's optimal speed and coordinating with other team leads to ensure proper electronic functioning. Simultaneously, they also worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at TREC Lab at Virginia Tech from June 2019 to August 2020. In 2020, they joined Xator Corporation as a Design Engineer from August 2020 to October 2021. Currently, they are working as a Data Engineer at Octo (formerly Volant Associates) from October 2021 till present.

Michael Stanley attended Virginia Tech College of Engineering from 2015 to 2020, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
