Grisha Spektor is a highly experienced professional in the field of photonics and electrical engineering. Currently serving at Octave Photonics since December 2023, Grisha focuses on driving nonlinear photonics to practical applications. Prior to this role, Grisha was a Schmidt Science Fellow Researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) from December 2019 to December 2023, concentrating on deployable quantum technology and innovating light delivery schemes. Grisha's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where research encompassed light-electron coupled vortices and international collaborations. Additional experience includes developing machine learning algorithms for optical metrology at KLA-Tencor and conducting research at reputable institutions such as MIT and Weizmann Institute of Science, further supporting expertise in electrical engineering and photonics.
