Daniel Bundzik has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Daniel is currently serving as the Machine Learning Team Lead at Ocrolus since 2019. Prior to that, they founded and worked as a Data Scientist at Lending Trace, a startup focused on mortgage data solutions. Daniel co-founded another startup called S'moretgage, where they served as the Lead Programmer, developing a computer program for data extraction from mortgage documents.
Daniel also worked as a Lead Programmer at CuraServe, where they developed a medication reminder system using SMS technology. In addition, they gained experience as a Nuclear Transient Analyst at Westinghouse Electric Sweden AB, where they were involved in transient analyses for nuclear services. Daniel also worked as a Consultant at Relcon Scandpower AB, specializing in probabilistic safety analysis software for the oil & gas, transport, and nuclear sectors.
Daniel began their career as a Physicist at CERN, where they worked on experimental projects such as the Energy Amplifier and the TARC Experiment. Daniel conducted Monte Carlo simulations and contributed to scientific publications during their time at CERN.
Daniel Bundzik has a Master of Science in Theological Studies from Durham University, which they obtained from 1999 to 2000. Daniel then attended Lund University and received a Master of Science in Theoretical Particle Physics in 2002. In 2004, Daniel completed a Degree of Licentiate of Philosophy in Theoretical Particle Physics with string theory as their main focus. Daniel'seducation culminated in 2007 when they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Lund University and Malmö University, specializing in Theoretical Particle Physics with string theory as their research topic.
