Irene Berg has over 16 years of experience in various financial and managerial roles at Öckerö kommun, currently serving as Avdelningschef ekonomi, inköp, IT. Prior positions include Budgetekonom and Ekonom within the Kommunstyrelsen, as well as Ekonom in the Barn- och utbildningsförvaltningen. Additionally, Irene has been involved in volunteer work as a God man since March 2013. Irene holds an Ekonomie kandidatexamen in Företagsekonomi from the University of Gävle, obtained between 2001 and 2004, and completed a program at Hofors DTU in 1995.
