MaryLou then joined Phoenix Baptist Hospital as the Chief Nursing Officer for a year. In 2004, MaryLou became the Corporate Director of Risk & Safety Services at Rush Health Systems, Inc. Overall, they have held leadership positions in multiple healthcare organizations throughout their career.

MaryLou Redd has a Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern California University School of Law. MaryLou also holds a Master of Science (M.S.) from the University of South Carolina, with a specialization in Nursing Administration.
