Dominique Roddier has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Dominique currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Ocergy since October 2019. Before that, they worked at Principle Power Inc. from 2009 to 2019 as the CTO & Director, leading the WindFloat development and other renewable energy applications.
Prior to Principle Power Inc., Dominique Roddier co-founded Marine Innovation & Technology in 2004, which later merged with Principle Power in 2014. Dominique played a significant role in the merger.
In 2013, Dominique Roddier served as the Conference Co-Chair at ASME OMAE Conference, a renowned conference on Offshore Arctic and Marine Engineering. Dominique successfully organized OMAE 2014, which featured over 990 presentations in 12 symposia.
From 2000 to 2003, Dominique Roddier worked as a Sr. Research Engineer at ExxonMobil Upstream research.
Dominique'searly work experience includes being a Sailing Instructor at OCSC Sailing from 1994 to 2000, where they taught sailing techniques and emphasized the Zen approach to navigation.
Dominique Roddier pursued a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Arizona, which they completed from 1988 to 1992. Dominique then obtained a Master's degree in Ocean Engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa between 1991 and 1994. Continuing their studies, they pursued a Ph.D. in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, from 1994 to 2000.
