Sebastiaan Ambtman is an accomplished entrepreneur and offshore sailor with extensive experience in technology and maritime industries. As the Founder and CEO of OceanSync Inc. since May 2020, Sebastiaan leads the development of high-resolution real-time shipborne ocean weather data to enhance environmental data capture from commercial vessels. Sebastiaan has been an offshore sailor since May 2000, traveling approximately 75,000 km on personal sailboats. Previous ventures include founding Rayleigh Solar Tech, a next-generation solar technology company, and Voradius, a search engine focused on product localization. As part of the founding team at eBay in the Netherlands, Sebastiaan contributed to significant online commerce developments. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Banking and Finance from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and various maritime certifications.
