Andre B. serves as the Hardware Design Lead at OceanSync Inc. since May 2020, focusing on the development of ship-based data collection systems and electrical hardware design for marine applications. Prior to this role, Andre held the position of Senior Design Engineer at Ashored Innovations, designing rope-on-command systems for fishing applications from May 2020 to April 2023. Andre completed a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at Dalhousie University between May 2012 and April 2020 and co-founded Motryx Inc., serving as CTO from January 2019 to October 2019, as well as Daxsonics Ultrasound, where Andre was the Director of Design from 2014 to 2018. Educational qualifications also include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dalhousie University (2006-2011) and ongoing training in Quality Management Systems Auditing (ISO 9001) since September 2019.
