Carlos Gustavo Malveira Xavier E Silva has extensive maritime experience, currently serving as Imediato on the ORSV Macaé with OceanPact Serviços Marítimos since January 2019. Previously held the position of Segundo oficial de náutica, working as a DP Full officer on the AHTS Rochedo de São Paulo and also as Segundo oficial de náutica on the SDSV Seacor Grant. Earlier in their career, Carlos gained practical experience as a praticante with the Brazilian Navy and completed a practicum in Nautical Sciences at OceanPact Serviços Marítimos from December 2016 to June 2018. Carlos holds a degree in Ciências Náuticas, Náutica, obtained from the Centro de Instrução Almirante Braz de Aguiar between 2013 and 2015.
