Hope Ikue-John is a Naval Architect with extensive experience in the maritime industry. Currently employed at Ocean Marine Solutions Ltd since February 2018, Hope is responsible for design checks of Offshore Patrol Boats, liaising with clients, supervising vessel construction, and collaborating with Bureau Veritas on vessel classification and drydocking operations. Previously, at Ibiba Engineering Systems from May 2015 to February 2018, Hope focused on ship-hull design and analysis, stability testing, and served as Lead Naval Architect for the Whisky Star XIX Jackup Platform. Additionally, Hope's experience includes a role as a Research Assistant during the NYSC at Niger Delta University and an internship with Nigeria Port Authority Onne, where routine engine room maintenance and plant maintenance system adherence were key responsibilities. Hope holds a Master’s Degree in Naval Architecture from Rivers State University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Engineering from Niger Delta University.
