Ron Shah is currently the VP, EHS, QARA, & Lean at Ocean Insight. Prior to this, they worked as the Global Quality Manager at Danaher Corporation from April 2015 to March 2017. In this role, they were responsible for leading and managing quality management systems compliance across all manufacturing and equipment sites. Ron also benchmarked best practices across different Pall sites and implemented the best processes and systems across different sites in order to improve quality, on-time delivery, productivity, efficiency, and cost. Additionally, they were responsible for quality KPIs for the machinery and equipment business unit as well as the Deland site.

Under Ron's leadership, the machinery and equipment business unit saw a DPPM reduction from 1700 to 350 (79% reduction), a POR PPM reduction from 115 to 27 (76% reduction), an increase in the percentage of PORs completed in less than 30 days from mid 15s to mid-50s (260% increase), and a reduction in the number of PORs from mid 70s to mid-30s (53% reduction). At the Deland site, there was a DPPM reduction from 2000 to 500 (75% reduction), a POR PPM reduction from 277 to 37 (86% reduction), an increase in the percentage of PORs completed in less than 30 days from 30% to 100% (233% increase), and a reduction in the number of PORs from mid 60s to mid 15s (75% reduction). Additionally, key Fortune 500 customers saw a 70-80% reduction in DPPM and yield improvements to 99.95%.

Ron has also performed root-cause analysis and implemented systemic corrective actions (CA) and preventive actions (PA) using 8D / 5-Whys tools. Ron has also partnered with suppliers, operations, and sales teams to implement robust systems and processes to ensure on-time delivery (OTD) of quality products. Furthermore, they created a QARA Portal on SharePoint using the SIPOC (Supplier, Input, Process, Output and Customer) process to ensure quality systems that are accountable, responsible, and transparent (ART). Lastly, they led the internal audit program for ISO 9001 and was successful in leading multiple manufacturing sites for ISO 9001 recertification. Ron also coordinated internal audits planning, scheduling, and reporting as well as managed internal auditors - certification, schedule, and support.

Ron Shah has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Central Florida, a Master of Science (M.S.) in Industrial Engineering from the University of Central Florida, and a B.E. in Textile Technology from L.D. College of Engineering. Ron is also certified from the PMI-OC Project Management Institute Orange County Chapter in Project Management.
