Marley Parker is an accomplished professional in ocean science communication and media, serving as an Expedition Leader at Ocean Exploration Trust since September 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing the science team's well-being and ensuring expedition goals are met. Parker has held various roles such as Communications Lead and Video Engineer aboard E/V Nautilus, producing content and managing live broadcasts. With experience as an Ocean Science Media Specialist since 2018, Parker has participated in over 20 ocean science expeditions and worked with notable institutions like NASA and the National Science Foundation. Additional roles include Course Instructor for the Association of Science Communicators, freelance writing and photography for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and other organizations, and contributions to several oceanographic expeditions as a photographer and videographer.
