Sandra Chiri is an experienced professional in environmental management and conservation, currently serving as the International Outreach Manager for Shipping Emissions at Ocean Conservancy since February 2021. In this role, Sandra advances the campaign to reduce global shipping greenhouse gas emissions and fosters partnerships with countries to promote zero-emission shipping initiatives. Previously, Sandra worked as a consultant for Integrated Sustainability Solutions LLC, supporting the WWF-GEF Mesoamerican Reef project, and provided assistance to the UNDP during the COVID-19 response grants. Additional experience includes working with the Environmental Leadership & Training Initiative, the Nature Conservancy, and the Ministry of Environment of Peru, where technical expertise contributed to forest conservation projects. Sandra holds a Master's degree in Environmental Management from Yale School of the Environment and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina.
