Anoop Chengara is a seasoned professional in chemical engineering with extensive experience in water technology and related fields. Currently serving as a Sr. Water Technology Engineer at Oxy since June 2022, Anoop previously held the position of Sr. Staff Scientist at ChampionX and Nalco Champion, where significant contributions included the development of new generation coagulants and scale inhibitors for the SAGD industry. Anoop's earlier roles also encompass Chemical Supervisor at Oxy, focusing on chemical performance monitoring in oil field applications, and Staff Scientist at Nalco, contributing to product development across multiple industries. Anoop holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, alongside a Master’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor's degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
