David Thingsaker is an experienced engineering leader with a background in software development and a focus on eCommerce and web applications. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Ocado Technology since June 2019, David oversees Web, Mobile, Search, and Voice Engineering teams, collaborating closely with Product Management to enhance product discoverability on the OSP platform. Previously, David held key roles at Supplyant as Head Of Software Development, and at Virgin Media Business and Arqiva, where responsibilities included managing engineering teams and developing software platforms. David's career began in web development, with roles at Hello World Group, Hello World, and clickTag, showcasing a strong progression from front-end to full-stack capabilities. David holds a BSc in Physics from the University of Surrey.
