Mitchell Dorfman is a highly experienced professional with a long-standing career at Oerlikon, where roles have included Fellow and Applications Portfolio Manager for High Temperature Materials, as well as leadership positions in materials development and global turbine technical support. Since January 1979, Mitchell has contributed significantly as a TBC Competency Leader. Additionally, Mitchell serves as a HOF Committee Advisor and has held prominent roles in various organizations, including ASM International's Board of Directors and President of the Thermal Spray Society. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Materials Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from Stony Brook University.
