Danielle Farmer has a diverse work experience in various roles. Danielle began their career as a Team Lead at Tractor Supply Company, where they demonstrated strong communication and customer service skills. Danielle then worked as a Network Specialist in the US Army, providing operational support and troubleshooting network issues. Danielle also served as a Network Engineer, implementing COMSEC devices and providing troubleshooting assistance. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Customer Support Technician at Prudential Financial, displaying excellent communication and listening skills. Danielle further developed their skills as a Cyber Security Analyst for the State of Maryland, monitoring and defending internal networks against threats. Danielle also worked as a Course Instructor at C3 Cyber Club, assisting children in designing and creating games. Prior to that, they were a SIE Consultant Trainee at Workforce Opportunity Services, completing online training and obtaining a SIE license. Most recently, they worked as a Cyber Defense Incident Responder at U.S. Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command, analyzing network traffic and artifacts to mitigate network incidents. Danielle will be joining OBXtek as a Network Security Systems Instructor in 2023. Overall, Danielle has a strong background in network security, customer service, and training.
Danielle Farmer completed their education at Roanoke Catholic School, where they received an Advanced College Preparatory Diploma in High School. Danielle attended the school from 2012 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, Danielle has obtained several certifications. Danielle became a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) through EC-Council in May 2022 and obtained the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA in April 2022. Furthermore, Danielle obtained the Security Industry Essentials certification from FINRA in June 2020.
