Matthew Hiatt is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software development and architecture. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Obviously since June 2018, Matthew has held multiple roles including Director of Architecture and Senior Software Engineer. Prior to Obviously, Matthew spent over five years at Appen, Inc., contributing as a Senior Software Engineer in the development of tools for workforce management and machine learning datasets. Matthew's career also includes positions at Accruent and Siterra Corp, where significant contributions were made to large-scale SaaS systems managing vast amounts of data for users. Earlier experience includes work as a Web Administrator and Developer for the San Francisco Department of Telecommunications and Information, focusing on content management and application development.
