Tyler Humpton is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in gene therapy and analytical development. Currently serving as a Scientist at Obsidian Therapeutics since July 2022, Tyler previously held the position of Principal Research Associate at Sana Biotechnology, where significant contributions included developing innovative methodologies for assessing gene therapy vectors and enhancing assay performance. Tyler's expertise spans various roles at companies such as Cobalt Biomedicine and Nano Terra, focusing on experimental design, material characterization, and biosafety protocols. Earlier in their career, Tyler served as a Police Officer at Gordon College and a Midshipman in the US Navy. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Gordon College and attended the United States Naval Academy.
