Amanda Kelly has a diverse work experience in scientific and strategic communications, publications, and scientific writing. Amanda currently holds the position of Senior Director, Scientific and Strategic Communications at Obsidian Therapeutics. Previously, Amanda held senior leadership roles at Iovance Biotherapeutics, Inc. and Incyte, where they managed publications and scientific communications. Amanda also worked at Complete Healthcare Communications as an Associate Scientific Director and Medical Writer. Prior to that, Amanda gained experience as a Clinical Writer at ECRI Institute and as a Research Associate at Design Science Consulting Inc. Amanda began their career as a Research Specialist at the University of Pennsylvania and as a Research Assistant at Johnson & Johnson.

Amanda Kelly holds an MPhil degree in Neuroscience from the University of Cambridge. Amanda also has a BA degree in Biological Basis of Behavior and Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania. Currently, they are a candidate for a PhD degree in Neuroscience at the University of California, San Francisco. Amanda also obtained a Certificate of Achievement in Leadership Training from NYU Stern School of Business in 2018. Amanda holds a Master of Science in Holistic Nutrition (MSHN) from Hawthorn University. Amanda completed their high school education at Pennsbury High School. In terms of additional certifications, they have obtained the "Proven Tips for Managing Your Time" certification from LinkedIn in 2019. Additionally, they are certified as a "Dare to Lead Trained" professional and holds the "Certified Medical Publication Professional" certification from ISMPP (International Society for Medical Publication Professionals) obtained in December 2019.
