Chris Naves has extensive work experience in the video game industry, primarily in art outsourcing and management roles. Chris began their career as a Contract Artist at SuperVillain Studios in 2010 before moving on to roles such as Technical Art Director at Fire Forge Games in 2011 and Art Director at Checkpoint from 2011 to 2012. From 2012 to 2013, Chris worked as an Art Director at Xseed JKS inc. and then served as an Art Director at Konami Digital Entertainment from 2013 to 2014. Chris then joined Obsidian Entertainment as an Art Outsource Manager from 2015 to 2016 before transitioning to MZ as an Outsource Manager for Game Art from 2016 to 2017. Chris returned to Obsidian Entertainment as an Art Outsourcing Manager in 2019. Most recently, they worked as an Outsourcing Art Director at Turtle Rock Studios from 2018 to 2019.
Chris Naves began their education journey at Saddleback College in 1988, where they pursued a degree in Graphic Design. This program lasted for four years, and they successfully completed their Associate of Arts (AA) degree in 1992. Building on their foundation, Chris then enrolled at ArtCenter College of Design in 1994. Chris focused on Illustration and dedicated two years to complete their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in 1996.
