Joel Toews is a Geologist-in-Training at Obsidian Energy Ltd., with experience in various geological roles and farm work. Previously served as a Wellsite Geology Consultant at RPS, successfully overseeing over 50 Viking reservoir horizontal wells and excelling in communication and teamwork within fast-paced drilling environments. Worked as an MWD Consultant at New Discovery Directional Services, focusing on measurement while drilling and maintaining composure under pressure. Joel has been a Farm Hand at Anchor N Ranch since June 2016, showcasing adaptability and problem-solving skills through diverse responsibilities. Joel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Calgary, earned between 2011 and 2016.
