Samantha Oto has a diverse work experience that spans across multiple roles and companies. Samantha began their career at UCLA as a Customer Service Representative, where they provided support to patrons and resolved customer service issues for a variety of events. In 2015, Samantha joined Creative Artists Agency (CAA) as an Entertainment Marketing Assistant, where they collaborated with clients to develop marketing solutions and provided strategic analysis. Samantha later became an Account Coordinator and an Agent Trainee at CAA. Currently, Samantha is working at Observatory, previously known as CAA Marketing, where they have held multiple roles including Brand Executive, Senior Brand Executive, Brand Supervisor, and currently serves as the Brand Director. At Observatory, Samantha combines their expertise in strategy and storytelling to help brands undergo transformations and create a cultural impact.
Samantha Oto completed a Marketing Effectiveness Certificate at the Effie Effectiveness Bootcamp in New York, NY in 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication and Media Studies from UCLA from 2011 to 2014.
