Javi Montes has worked as an Illustrator and 2D Artist on a freelance basis. Javi also worked as a Freelance Illustrator and Freelance Artist at estudio BAOBAB from 2002 to 2003. From 2000 to 2003, they worked at Bren Entertainment as a Storyboard Artist and Art Director and Assistant Director.

Javi Montes attended Escuela de Artes y Oficios Pablo Picasso from 1993 to 1996.
