Paul Hegarty

Project Manager at Obelisk Group

Paul Hegarty has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Paul started their career as a Debug Technician at 3Com in 2001, where they tested and repaired products and reported failures to engineers in the USA. From 2005 to 2007, Hegarty worked as a Telecommunications Rigger at Quantum Communications, where they installed antennas, RF equipment, and constructed towers and steel structures. Paul then joined RTCommunications in 2008 and held roles such as Senior Technician/Rigger and Quality Specialist. In these positions, Hegarty installed and integrated various equipment, managed contractors, and developed and maintained quality and safety management systems. Since 2016, Hegarty has been with Obelisk, initially as a Project Manager and later as an Operations Manager. Their responsibilities included managing projects, implementing quality and safety controls, and overseeing operations.

Paul Hegarty obtained an Advanced Diploma in Applied Electronics from Technological University Dublin between 1998 and 2001. Later, in 2015-2016, they completed a Cert IV Workplace Health and Safety program at Inspired Education. Furthermore, they pursued a Diploma in Project Management at TAFE NSW from 2013 to 2014. In 2012, they also completed a Cert IV in Front Line Management from TAFE NSW.
