Danny McGregor is a seasoned nonprofit executive with extensive experience in development and operations. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Development at the Obama Foundation since June 2022, McGregor previously held leadership roles at the Southern Poverty Law Center as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Development Officer from August 2020 to June 2022. Prior to that, significant contributions were made at Amnesty International USA as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Development Officer from April 2014 to August 2020. McGregor also held multiple positions at Greenpeace USA, including Fundraising Director and Chief Operating Officer, from 2003 to April 2014, and worked as Finance Unit Head at Greenpeace from November 1999 to April 2003. Early career experience includes a role as Auditor at Ernst & Young from September 1996 to October 1999. McGregor holds a BA in Mathematics from the University of Oxford, completed in 1996, and attended Driffield School & Sixth Form from 1986 to 1993.
