Mangneo Lhungdim has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mangneo began their career as a Young Professional at CAPART in 1998, where they gained knowledge in rural development. Mangneo then worked as an Institutional Development Organiser at NERCORMP, focusing on improving the livelihoods of vulnerable groups through resource management.

In 2004, Mangneo joined Catholic Relief Services as a Deputy State Representative in the Northeast region, where they were involved in various programs related to HIV/AIDS, disaster management, and peacebuilding. Mangneo later joined Indo Global Social Service Society and held multiple roles, including Manager DRR and Head-Disaster Risk Reduction & NE India Operations.

Mangneo has also worked as the Convenor cum Secretary of the Inter-Agency Group (IAG) Assam, which focused on coordinating emergency responses and enhancing collaboration between different organizations. Mangneo currently serves as the Executive Director & CEO of Oasis India, leading initiatives in education, health, employment readiness, sports, and other areas to bring about change in disadvantaged communities.

Throughout their career, Mangneo has demonstrated strong leadership skills, fostered collaborations with various stakeholders, and contributed to the development sector in India.

Mangneo Lhungdim has a diverse education background. In 1996, they enrolled in the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and completed their MA degree in Social Work by 1998. Later, in 2006, they attended the Mindanao Peacebuilding Institute (MPI) in Davao, Philippines, where they obtained a Certificate in Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution. Before that, from 1990 to 1993, Mangneo Lhungdim attended Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University, where they earned a BA (Hons) degree in Political Science.
