Dr. Susan C. Autry, Academic Supervisor, has served students and families of Oakwood School for over 30 years. Starting as a teacher, she moved into an administrative role as assistant to the Academic Supervisor. While in this role, she began her doctoral work in Administration and Supervision at the University of Virginia. This work built on her prior degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education: Behavior Disorders (University of Missouri), and a master’s degree in Reading with an endorsement in Learning Disabilities (University of Virginia). Dr. Autry holds Virginia post-graduate Professional licensure in Developmental Reading, Specific Learning Disabilities, Emotional Disturbance, and Administration and Supervision.
