Aarti Tandon is an accomplished leader in smart city development and civil society. Currently serving as a Global Ambassador for Global Impact Initiative since December 2023, Tandon has held the position of CEO at Smart City Expo USA since June 2019, where the initiative aims to foster equitable and sustainable urban environments. Tandon is also a Fellow with the Civil Society Fellowship at The Aspen Institute and a member of the World Economic Forum's G20 Global Smart City Alliance. As CEO of Citizen Eight LLC, a global advisory firm, Tandon provides expertise at the intersection of technology, entertainment, and justice. With past roles including Senior Advisor for Black Media Strategic Engagement at Bloomberg 2020 and Executive Director of Smart Cities New York, Tandon's extensive experience is supported by a Doctor of Law from Cardozo School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Emory University.
