Julissa Perez Lima possesses a diverse background in mentorship and community service. Experience as a Tutor and Mentor in the Knight Landing Sci-Tech Bridge Program highlights a commitment to supporting English language learners. Julissa's role as an Oakland Police Explorer has provided insight into various career paths within law enforcement, while previous positions, such as Energy Specialist at Rising Sun Center for Opportunity and ASLA Coordinator at East Oakland Youth Development Center, demonstrate skills in customer service, curriculum creation, and program management.
