David N. Martin, PE, SE, is a Senior Associate and Senior Structural Engineer at Oak Point Associates, where a leadership role involves overseeing structural engineering projects for military, government, and educational facilities since May 1995. Expertise encompasses a variety of structures including steel, cold-formed steel, masonry, reinforced concrete, mass timber, and wood framing. Prior to this role, David served as a Project and Resident Engineer with the US Army Corps of Engineers from January 1985 to June 1992, working on significant projects such as the Stratford Army Engine Plant and Saco Army Reserve Center. David holds a Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering from Virginia Tech (1992-1993) and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Maine (1980-1984).
