Laura Devitt serves as the Youth Engagement Program Manager at Oak Park Township since September 2022, following a role as Youth Interventionist at Oak Park Township Youth Services from September 2019 to September 2022. Prior experience includes a School Social Work Internship at Roosevelt Middle School, where responsibilities involved supporting student functioning, assessing needs, and leading support groups. Laura's background also features work as an Addiction Recovery Technician at McCambridge Center for Women and as an AmeriCorps Member with Jumpstart, focusing on early childhood education in low-income neighborhoods. Laura earned a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
