Pramod Kumar is a Senior Data Scientist at o9 Solutions, Inc. since July 2022, focusing on optimal markdown strategies and package optimization for retailers. Previously, Pramod worked at Lowe's India as a Data Scientist, specializing in Python machine learning for demand forecasting and pricing strategies. Prior experience includes serving as a Data Scientist at SS Supply Chain Solution, where machine learning models were developed for various industries, and at SolCen Technologies, where expertise in computer vision was applied to detect counterfeit products. An early role as an intern at IBM involved automating a soil plant atmosphere model through Python. Pramod holds both a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
