Dustin Abbott is an experienced outdoor leadership professional currently serving as Base Operations Manager at OARS Companies, Inc. since February 2022. With a strong background in wilderness education and guiding, Dustin holds a Master of Outdoor Adventure and Expedition Leadership degree from Southern Oregon University and has been a Patrol Leader at NOLS since March 2016. Previous roles include Guide, Trip Leader, Instructor, and Head Cook at Northwest Rafting Company, as well as River Program Operations Manager at Environmental Traveling Companions. Dustin also has experience as a Field Guide at Open Sky Wilderness Therapy and worked as a Sales Associate at Patagonia. Education credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Community Development from Portland State University and an Associate of Arts in Architectural Design from Truckee Meadows Community College.
