Marvin Parasram is an accomplished academic specializing in organic chemistry, currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at New York University since August 2020. Previously, Marvin held the position of NIH Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Princeton University from September 2017 to August 2020 and gained extensive research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago from August 2010 to August 2017, where work included the development of the first Endo Selective Silyl Methyl Heck Reaction. Marvin's foundational academic career began at Stony Brook University, where a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry was obtained in 2010, followed by a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2017.
