Avalon A. is currently a Communications Intern at the Alliance of Community Health Plans (ACHP) since August 2023, following an internship in a similar role at the Parkinson's Foundation from January to May 2023. Previous experience includes positions as a Communications and Marketing Intern at Strategies for International Development, Social Chairwoman for Sigma Kappa Sorority, Program Manager at Timmy Global Health, and Student Library Assistant at Himmelfarb Health Sciences Library. Avalon A. also served as a Get Ready Campaign Intern at the American Public Health Association. Avalon A. is pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH) at The George Washington University - Milken Institute School of Public Health, after earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Public Health from The George Washington University in 2023. Additional educational experience includes a study abroad program at King's College London in 2022 and attendance at Viewpoint School from 2016 to 2019.
