Valerie Sayre, MA, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist with extensive experience in the mental health field since 1996. Currently serving as a mental health professional at Nystrom & Associates, Ltd. since December 2011, Valerie specializes in psychotherapeutic practices grounded in Adlerian principles and utilizes an integrative approach that includes EMDR and systemic therapies. Valerie's professional background encompasses roles in various organizations including Metro Psychology Support Services, McLeod County Social Services, and the University of Minnesota, where expertise spans in-home mental health services, case management, and psychological testing. Valerie holds a Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychotherapy from Adler Graduate School and a Bachelor of Arts in Home Economics and Psychology from St. Olaf College.
