Lita J. has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. In 2000, they worked as a Metadata Analyst Lead at Media Content Marketing, where they led an electronic journal project and ensured project deadlines were met with high data integrity. Lita also collaborated with engineers to design an XML interface to meet client deliverables.

From 2002 to 2005, Lita J. served as a Technical Support Specialist at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. During this time, they trained users on new software and technology, implemented online applications to enhance usability for students, and developed web search engines using ASP.

In 2004, they briefly worked as an IT Educator at The Brooklyn Hospital Center.

From 2005 to 2010, Lita J. held various roles at M5 Networks. Initially, they served as a VOIP Support Specialist, where they assisted clients with troubleshooting hardware and network issues, documented client issues and resolutions, and collaborated with technical resources to proactively solve recurring problems. Lita later became a Business Implementation Specialist, focusing on client system design requirements for the deployment of VOIP Call Manager. Lita J. managed vendor relationships to ensure successful router installation and network configuration, improving client voice quality and data throughput. Finally, they joined the Network Operations Center (NOC) team, facilitating new connections and client deployments for VOIP service and monitoring WAN connectivity for existing clients.

At New York Methodist Hospital from 2010 to 2015, Lita J. worked as an Informatics Learning Specialist. Lita led training for Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation and EHR migration roll-out projects for all ambulatory clinics. Lita J. coordinated EHR training for over 4000 users across organization levels and verticals.

Since 2015, Lita J. has been working at the New York State Technology Enterprise Corporation (NYSTEC). Lita currently holds the position of Business System Analyst, where they are responsible for facilitating Electronic Health Record and HL7 integration for data exchange between healthcare providers and the Public Health registry. Lita builds and manages relationships with data exchange partners, provides guidance on HL7 specifications, and ensures compliance with program requirements.

Lita J. attended CUNY New York City College of Technology from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems. In terms of additional certifications, Lita obtained the following certifications:
