Bob Manion has over 20 years of work experience, starting in 1994. Bob began their career in the US Army as a Lieutenant Colonel/Battalion Commander, serving from 1995 to 1997. In 1994, they served as an Instructor at the US Army Command & Staff College. In 1998, they transitioned to NYSTEC as a Senior Project Manager, where they are currently employed.

Bob Manion has a Bachelor of Science degree in General Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Bob attended this institution from 1973 to 1978. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Operations Research at the Naval Postgraduate School, where they studied from 1985 to 1988.
