Shawn Sutton is an experienced Information Technology Specialist currently working at the New York State Insurance Fund since January 2020. With a solid educational foundation that includes a Master's degree in Computer and Information Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from The College of Saint Rose, Shawn’s career began with roles such as Software Development Intern at Auto/Mate Dealership Systems and ITS Student Intern at the NYS Office of Information Technology Services. Prior experience includes working as a Research Technician at the Regenerative Research Foundation/Neural Stem Cell Institute and various positions at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, WM H Buckley Farm LLC, and the United States Marine Corps, where Shawn served as an Infantry Rifleman and Fire Team Leader.
