Marie-Laure Romney, MD, MBA, currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital since January 2021, having previously held the role of Vice President of Operations. Prior to this position, Marie-Laure Romney was Vice Chair of Quality and Patient Safety in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Columbia University from November 2018 to January 2021, and served as Assistant Director of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Kings County Hospital Center from April 2013 to November 2018. Additional experience includes a role as Physician Consultant at Call9, focusing on telehealth, and Associate Director of the Division of Emergency Ultrasound at The New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens. Marie-Laure Romney holds a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School, a Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Cornell University.
