Wojciech Pietka, PhD has a diverse and extensive work experience. Wojciech is currently working as a Research and Development Scientist at Nykode Therapeutics since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Scientific Consultant from September 2020.

Wojciech also has experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Oslo, where they worked from August 2019 to August 2021. Additionally, they have worked as a Product Developer at Innovatera from September 2018 to December 2018, where they were involved in the development of health products, marketing, content creation, customer outreach, scientific content development, webpage design, and market research.

Before that, Wojciech worked at Oslo University Hospital. Wojciech served as a Stipendiat (PhD) in the field of immunology from January 2015 to October 2018. Wojciech'sresearch focused on the biology of alarm signals produced by keratinocytes and their potential use in developing new treatments for skin inflammatory conditions. Prior to this role, they also worked as a Research Assistant for a year, where their project involved molecular biology of interleukin-33, in vitro and in vivo models, confocal microscopy, protein and gene analysis.

Wojciech's work experience also includes a student internship at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Plant Physiology, where they worked from September 2011 to February 2012. During this internship, they conducted research on gene silencing in plants, enhancing their expertise in protein and gene analysis techniques and working with Arabidopsis thaliana.

Wojciech Pietka, PhD, has an extensive educational background in the field of life sciences. Wojciech completed their Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from the University of Wroclaw in 2011. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Molecular Biology from the same university, graduating in 2014. Building upon their previous achievements, Wojciech then enrolled in the University of Oslo (UiO), where they successfully obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Immunology in 2018.

In addition to their academic credentials, Wojciech Pietka holds a certification in IELTS Academic from the institution Folkeuniversitetet, which they obtained in October 2013.
