Stéphane Pourpe has a diverse work experience in the field of bioanalytical sciences and immunology. Stéphane started their career at Centre Léon Bérard as a student from 2007 to 2009. Later, at Baylor Institute for Immunology Research, they served as a Research Assistant III from 2010 to 2015, where they focused on immune cell culture, purification, and multicolor flow cytometry. Stéphane then moved to Weill Cornell Medical College as a Research Specialist in 2015, where they managed a lab and handled lab supplies. In 2016, Stéphane joined Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as a Research Assistant, where they assessed T cell response and processed tumor and blood samples for future analysis. In 2018, they joined Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as a Senior R&D Specialist, where they developed functional assays, performed flow cytometry, and sorted antigen-specific T cells. Since 2021, Stéphane has been working at Nykode Therapeutics as a Scientist, focusing on immune monitoring and biomarker discovery using high parameter flow cytometry.

Stéphane Pourpe has a diverse education history. Stéphane obtained a "Diplôme EPHE" in SVT (Life and Earth Sciences) from École Pratique des Hautes Études in the years 2007 to 2009. Stéphane then pursued further studies in the field of Biotechnology. Between 2009 and 2010, they attended Université catholique de Lyon and obtained an "ESSEP 5" degree in Biotechnology. Prior to that, they completed a degree in Biotech at the same university from 2006 to 2007. Additionally, Stéphane has a DUT (Diplôme Universitaire de Technologie) in Chemistry, which they earned from IUT de Sète from 2004 to 2006.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Stéphane has also obtained several certifications. In 2016, they received the BD FACSAria II & III Operator Course Certificate and the BD LSRFortessa Operator Course Certificate from Beckton Dickinson (BD). Stéphane also holds a Mouse Handling Certification which they obtained in September 2015 from the Research Animal Resource Center (RARC) at Weill Cornell Medicine. Additionally, they acquired another Mouse Handling Certification in April 2010, but the institution from which they obtained it is not specified.
