Teresa (Jui-Shan) Lin is a data science associate at the New York Genome Center since May 2021. Prior to this role, Teresa served as a graduate student assistant at Penn State University from September 2019 to May 2021, where a supervised machine learning pipeline was developed in Python to predict the clinical impact of missense mutations in Mendelian diseases. Teresa's earlier experience includes working as an undergraduate research assistant at National Cheng Kung University, focusing on the interactions between cancer cells and tumor microenvironments, and a summer internship at Shenh Long Bio-Tech International Co., where responsibilities included aquaculture water quality control and shrimp larva management. Teresa holds a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics from Penn State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from National Cheng Kung University.
