Sherry Wu is an experienced costume production professional with a robust background in various theatrical roles. Currently serving as a Technician at New York City Ballet since July 2022, Sherry has also held significant positions as a Theatrical Stitcher for RWS Entertainment Group and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. since June and May 2019, respectively. Previous roles include positions such as Stitcher for JOHN KRISTIANSEN NEW YORK INC and First Hand at Utah Shakespeare Festival in 2022, as well as Draper at PlayMakers Repertory Company from August 2019 to May 2022. Additionally, Sherry has experience as a Wardrobe Dresser for "Puffs" and as a Costume Apprentice at McCarter Theatre Center. Educationally, Sherry holds a Master of Fine Arts in Costume Production from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Brooklyn College in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology, with a focus on Costume Design.
