Qi Chen is an experienced Principal Verification Engineer currently working at NXP Semiconductors since November 2022, specializing in baseband verification. Prior to this role, Qi Chen served as a Principal Verification Engineer at On Semiconductor (Quantenna), focusing on WIFI baseband verification and test plan responsibilities. Previous positions include a Senior HW Engineer role at Trident Microsystems, where Qi Chen worked on ARM CortexA9 SoC verification, and a Staff HW Engineer role at IBM, leading SoC verification for multiple projects, including a PowerPC-based SoC. Additionally, Qi Chen has experience as a HW Engineer at S3 Graphics (VIA), engaged in full chip testbench construction and verification methodologies. Qi Chen holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, both from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
