Alex Brown is an accomplished supply chain executive with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as SVP of Supply Chain Operations at NXP Semiconductors since October 2021, Alex previously held the position of Corporate Vice President of Supply Chain at AMD from July 2020 to October 2021. With a long tenure at Xilinx from March 2002 to July 2020, Alex progressed through various roles, including Vice President of Supply Chain and Sr. Director of Supply Chain Management, where responsibilities encompassed worldwide planning, forecasting, and supply chain architecture. Earlier roles include Director of Strategic Consulting at Manugistics and Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University - Owen School. Educational background includes a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University, an M.Phil. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cambridge, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University.
